Waters’ Edge Country Park

We’ve been here a few times and find this a good meeting spot when meeting friends or family who live over the bridge! This was the first time we had been inside the visitors centre here. We had quite a few children between us and they enjoyed having a play in the indoor play area they had there (“kids corner”) which was near the cafe and free to use. It had toys like a seesaw, books, and giant connect 4. There was also quite a bit to read in there about Waters’ Edge, the wildlife, and suggested walking routes which was great.

There’s a nice gift shop too and they sell bags of duck food which we purchased and then headed off to feed the ducks which was good fun. A couple of the children picked blackberries on our walk around and we ended with a good session in the outdoor playground. On previous visits we have taken a longer walk along the river Humber. We have done this with the pram. You could also take a picnic, there are picnic tables there.
