This was our third trip here (me and the little one with friends). It is such a great place. Children have a fantastic time role playing with so many different areas and toys. My little boy really enjoys it. One of our visits was on his second birthday as I knew he’d have a great time. One of the staff wrote him a birthday card and put it in the little post box on that occasion which was very cute! The staff have been very nice and welcoming each time we’ve been. My little boy fell over on the way from the car park to the building, and one of the ladies came out to see if he was okay.

The place itself is very spacious and everything there, the sets and toys, seem high quality and the whole place is very clean. Play areas include a cafe, post office, fire station, Marks and Spencers, police station, theatre, hairdressers, maternity unit, vets, health clinic, construction area, ice cream van, and camper van. So there is lots to choose from depending on their preferences. They are also plenty of ride on toys, lawn mowers, prams etc to play with. My son really likes the fire station – getting in the truck, playing with the steering wheel, and getting dressed up as a firefighter. He also likes getting in the ice cream van, playing with trolleys, lawnmowers and getting on the ride-ons. This time he enjoyed the construction area.

You can go for a one and a half hour session. It’s best to book in advance. This time we went for the 9:30-11am session. It cost £8. I enjoyed a latte and toast while there while my little one had a juice and a snack. They had various snacks, drinks and meals available. It is a safe environment where you can sit and have a drink while keeping your child/ren in view, although it is also great to join in with the play. The changing room was nice and clean. There is plenty of parking space and it is free. Another parent told me they do great parties too. They had a lovely Halloween/autumn backdrop you could use to take a picture of your child. I wonder if they’ll do a Christmas one!

Next time, I’d like to take my older two, although they are 8 and 10. I think they’d have a great time playing with their little brother.
